Hiking Mount Van Hoevenberg, Spring 2022

We got out for a great weekday hike on a perfect spring day - not too cool and not too warm. It was a little muddy right at the water but the trail was in great shape!

I’m not a bird expert but I think this is a Willow Ptarmigan. It didn’t seem to be scared of us at all!

The clouds cleared off at just the right time and the views were spectacular. We took our time enjoying the summit before an easy walk back down.
