Our Story
Whiteface Mountain
A chance encounter on a chairlift and a lifelong dream.
Years ago Clea and Buck Stagnitti dreamed of living in the Adirondacks and running a bed and breakfast. Of course kids, careers and life diverted us from that goal.
On a ski trip to Whiteface in the Spring of 2021 Buck ended up on a chairlift with Bert Yost who owned the Willkommen Hof with his wife Hieke. After 30+ years, the Yost’s were ready to retire and a dream was reborn.
One year later we renamed the B&B Whiteface Farm in honor of our 150 year old farmhouse. Our focus on local food and creating a natural, sustainable lodging experience are all part of the Farm lifestyle!

“Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
— John Muir
