House Policies

  • Check In and Out

    Check in is from 3 to 9 pm. If you will be arriving after 9 please call or email and we’ll make arrangements for you to check in.

    Check out is by 11 am on your day of departure.

  • Families and Kids

    We love having families visit! Two of our rooms have lofts that are great for kids and the suite has a bunk room. Your room charge covers two adults. There’s a $20/night charge for the kiddos.

  • Work Remotely from the Farm

    If you’re working remotely from the Farm we have great WiFi and spectacular lunch walks. Most people work in the dining room so plan to bring headphones if you have meetings.

  • Health and Safety/COVID

    Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house.

    COVID 19: If you’re not feeling well, please wear a mask or stay home. Please help us keep our community and family safe and healthy.

    Housekeeping: We don’t enter your room during your stay. If you need fresh towels, please let us know. If you need your trash or recyclables picked up please leave it outside your door and we’ll grab it.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Reservations that are cancelled more than 14 days out will recieve a full refund less a $20 service fee for credit cards. Cancellations within 14 days will not be eligible for a refund.

    If you are concerned about cancellations for health reasons please see our “Worry Free Bookings” or consider purchasing private travel insurance.

  • Groups

    Come up with your friends! Your room charge covers two adults, 4 in the suite. Additional adults are $40 each.

    The Farm is available as a full house vacation rental. This includes linens, towels and use of the kitchen. Food and other services are additional. Maximum capacity is 20 people. For details please contact us at 518-270-5690 or WhitefaceFarmBnB@gmail.com.

  • Pet Policy

    If you have your dog with you please review these rules and ask if you have questions.

    • Be in control of your pet at all times. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog’s disturbing other guests.

    • There’s a $20 charge per dog per night.

    • No dogs on the furniture or on your bed, please.

    • If you leave, you need to bring the pup with you.

    • Your dog needs to be in good health and free of ticks and fleas.

    • You’re liable for any damages caused by your dog and you agree that we can check your room for potential damage before you leave.

    • Please wipe your dog down before you come back in from hiking or anything wet or muddy. We’ll set out some towels for you.

    • And of course, please pick up after your dog. There’s a plastic container on porch near the side kitchen door for the bags.
